Shimmers is a light and airy modern townhouse style villa. A spacious 2354 sq ft home situated in Battaleys Mews on the Platinum Coast between Holetown and Speightstown. Shimmers is nestled in a gated community of only 30 homes with 24/7 security.
Shimmers is managed locally by Marcia Mercer, who lives nearby and knows the Island like the back of her hand!
Marcia is on hand to help with both local information and anything to do with the house. Battaleys Mews has full time staff on site at all times including reception, bar service, gardeners and security. Shimmers comes with a weekly maid service which includes cleaning and a change of towels and bed linen.
A small library can be found in the spacious entrance hall, along with a selection of traditional board games. The entrance hall provides access to the downstairs wc and cupboard, and leads into the comfortable and large open plan living area.
The living area has a flat screen tv with full cable service including sports channels, matching sofas, easy chairs and a large dining table that seats six. Feature archways lead into the spacious and fully fitted kitchen.
French style doors open onto the rear terrace with an outside dining area, soft chairs overlooking a superbly maintained private garden and a refreshing private spa pool.
Ideal for cooling off and sipping cocktails – non-breakable glasses and cocktail-making equipment have been provided for just this occasion!
Shimmers tranquil master bedroom has two double built-in wardrobes, glazed doors and a balcony overlooking the mature flora and garden. It has a super king four poster bed with muslin drapes and a large ensuite bathroom.
The second bedroom has a Queen size four poster bed with a Juliette balcony.
All three of the bedrooms have both air-conditioning and a large ceiling fan in each room.
The third bedroom has twin beds, a built-in wardrobe, a Juliette balcony and a desk. There are also a selection of books, and toys to play with.
Each bedroom has ample storage space.
The en-suite features two basins, a deep-set bath with views onto the tropical panoply, a wc and a large walk-in shower.
The family bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a wc and is immaculately finished in marble.
Quality coordinating towels are supplied both in the en-suite and family bathroom, with further towels in an airing cupboard on the landing. Beach towels are also available.
